Peter Baxter

Songschool Founder & Co-Director (2001)

Songwriter, performer and guitarist, currently working on his third album with producer Dónal Lunny. As a performer Peter has toured worldwide, has performed at many festivals such as the Edinburgh Festival and Port Fairy Festival and Australian National Folk Festival. He has supported Ben E. King, Ralph McTell and Andy Irvine and has toured with Archie Roach, Neil Murray, Aslan and many more. Peter has extensive experience in production, recording and arrangement for emerging and experienced artists.

Board member of First Music Contact & Forum for Music in Ireland.

Chris Teusner

Songschool Co-Director (2003)

Songwriter and drummer with leading Irish band Nations of Fire (formerly Communal) who recently completed their second album with producer Steve Albini in Chicago. Also a member of Irish band The Racketeers. An accomplished professional musician, Chris has toured extensively throughout Europe, America, Australia, SE Asia, UK and Ireland. He has also “depped” in many bands including The Frames. He has recorded in several major studios and has extensive arrangement and production experience.
